For reading this week, We had too make an Idea that could be useful to Christchurch, My idea was a metro station that could send you to point A to point B. Its also eco-friendly and it makes no air pollution. The thing that i hate about the metro stations are the maps they are similar to the Bee traffic system
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Statistical investigations of Maori population decreasing in the 19th century
For this weeks maths, we had to learn about statistics
We were given 3 topics to pick for our learning. one of them was about the Maori Population rapidly decreasing, or how much can Te Reo speakers speak in NZ by age, or one about NZ native birds. I picked the one about Maori population decreasing in the Maori century. I thought it was really interesting to learn about Statistics and investigate about the Maori History
So have you ever used Statistics for Data in Math?

T1 W7 Math
For this weeks maths, we've had to measure the distance between Onawe Pa and Kaiapoi Pa. We've had to make a map in a website called: Google My Maps. The most direct route would be 55.7 km and we would have to go through the Pegasus bay. Walking distance would be 95 km, 19 hours and 36 minutes and the driving distance would be 101 km, 1 hour and 32 minutes. IF we started at Onawe Pa the direction we would be going is North but if we started at Kaiapoi pa we would be going to South. (Onawe Pa is Point A and Kaiapoi Pa is Point B) The coordinates for Kaiapoi Pa are 43.225 S, 172.392 E and Onawe Pa's coordinates are 43.774 S, 172.925 E.
Have you ever used Google My maps before for your maths?

T1 W6 Math
For math we've had to do Geometry, Me and Daniel Had to measure our Pa. Our pa was like a bunker it can fit anyone in there (Dont know how much) Anyhow here is the link:Pa Building Site. We measured each block and later figured out the Perimeter and Area. We have explained how we've came up with our answers everything is just in the link.
T1 W6 Writing
For Writing this week, we have to make a script on why our Pa is great. Here is what we've done so far
My buddy is Daniel. Our script just describes why our pa is great. The script describes that there is also a breath taking view of nature nearby.
T1 W6 Reading
For today's reading, I had to make a Pa add. This is what it looked like. A Pa is a Fortified Village that can protect you from natural elements , A pa usually has shelter, Natural defences and trenches. A Pa can fit your friends and just anybody if an actual pa was still here.
