On September the 16th, Everyone got to go to the bus to the museum (not everyone I think) But before everybody got to the bus they were in groups. I was stuck in Dejon's group it took awhile to get to the museum, When everyone got there, I found one of those things when you throw them up in the air they spin and fly, I honestly don't know what they named or spelt but they are fun. Anyways when we got inside, I saw many things that are awesome, such as Fossils and everything. And everyone got crazy in their free time, Looking at one thing to another in 1 second, Then using the Technology. I looked at one of the fossils and they were rusty and old (obviously). There was this guy named Anthony who was telling us about the fossils and artifacts in the room, and today I cant even remember what he said. ''Blah blah blah'' Anthony said. And I knew what he said was cool, I think he even said the stuff in the room is from Poland not New Zealand, But it looks Maori to me. After that mess, he told us a story. Anyways onto the next room, Anthony told us about the clothes and weapons and stuff. But I noticed a big green stone and the sign said ''Please Touch!'' I thought that they accidentally forgot ''don't'' in the sign, So I guess whoever built this museum forgot about the sign near the green stone. I guess it should say ''Please don't touch!'' but someone said it gives good luck and I thought Why not? So when Anthony finished his talk with us, I quickly ran to the binoculars, but all I saw was a black screen saying ''I had to pay'' I only had 2 dollars in my pocket. But I'd rather not waste my time, Anyways Anthony took us to this room with Drills and a Axe and stuff, My group started with the Axe, We were supposed to hit the sides of the wood but when a boy in our group almost hit his legs, I had second thoughts. But did it anyway and It was actually fun! I started to hit the wood 2 more times when it was another persons turn, but it was already time to swap places anyway, The next activity was drills. At first I had trouble when someone helped me, It was too fast that it stopped spinning and toppled sideways. After sometime I had the hang of it! but 2 seconds later it was time to swap AGAIN This time it was chisels. the edge of my chisel was a green stone or Jade. I started to make dents on the wood and almost took one of those black shapes out, But it was time to swap before I could finish. This time I had to make a Caveman drawing and I started writing on the paper, I started drawing one thing after another, I only drew 3 drawings and it was time to swap. This time I have to clean and make the rocks smooth, I mean I am not a geologist, Which is a person who studies rocks all day. But anyways I was just scraping the rocks, making them smooth, and everyone is scraping the rocks and spraying them like they are spraying water on cats. Then Anthony started to talk about how its lunch time or morning tea and all. So after that, I went towards the exit, when suddenly I was actually going out the entry, luckily someone said ''Hey! That's the entry! go the other way!'' I'm like okay, So I went towards the exit and ate with my friends and blah blah blah and stuff, So when It was playtime, I climbed the tree, many climbed so high, I mean How are you supposed to get down? Seriously none of the students are stuntmen, But I climbed up a trunk and here's a photo
After awhile It was time to go home and all, So we all gone to the bus and left, The trip was amazing and I learned about new stuff, such as how green stone (Jade) is stronger than steel, So I guess This is the end of this blog.
